A photograph Photography is a word that many of you keep saying all
the time like you know what that word trully means.
I'm sick of seeing all of you, 12 year old kids, taking a photo
of a tree, or a wall, then add a B&W layer or a Sepia layer,making
a border around it, writing your 'insert name' Photography, and
yea, great, it's your photography, your own collection!
Some would say why I am saying these words like I could do better
than you. No,I wouldn't even bother try doing something like that.
Almost none of you has ever spent 2 whole minutes experimenting of what
images you would see while closing your eyes and thinking about "Photography",
self questioning what that word means, what a photograph is and much more.
What would the answer me to that? That'd vary. Personally, a photograph is a paused image of a certain moment printed on a paper. That question might have millions of answers, but that's just my thought, but
seriously, how many of you have even questioned yourself with that ? What you see is a stopped moment printed on a paper as I've said.
You have no idea what's around the taken image, what's happened before
and after that moment, what's behind the photographer, what he/she was thinking
and what he/she wanted to show us with that photo. A photograph could be loved or hated, giving happy or sad emotions by/to the
same exact person, depending on his or her current mood and status at the
moment he or she is looking at it.
Take for example of a photo showing a sunset,the person in love would looking
at it would think of romance, that he/she would see a sunset live with his/her
loved one next to her/him.But ,what would a person who recently broke up
with her/her boyfriend/girlfriend think? That they used to watch the sunset with
their mate, sad feelings whatsoever. A photograph can mean million things, varied my our mood.
I'm not a photographer, I'm not pretending to be a photographer either, I'm not
someone special to tell you what photography is,
many people may agree with me, many people may disagree with me, that's
up to you, I'm just sharing my opinions with you, like some would like to, as well. PS.A good taken photograph that would give someone many things to think about
is something not having been set-up.
